Spring Hydrant Flushing

Tree City USA Award
The City was recently named a 2020 Tree City USA, Growth Award Winner by the Arbor Day Foundation. The community also received a Tree City USA Growth Award for demonstrating environmental improvement and a high level of tree care. -
Delores Feithen Firepit
The Delores Feithen Firepit, located at 921 S. State Street, has been dedicated by Mayor Streit to the Lockport Police Department's first female Police Officer. The outdoor fireplace serves as a common space in honor of our police and fire personnel. More Details -
Coal Tar-Based Sealant Products
Resolution No. 20-111 bans the sale, use, and application of coal tar-based sealant products containing a high-level of PAH, a toxic substance known to be harmful in high concentrations. Driveway repaving with asphalt is still allowed with non-PAH. Additional Info... -

Bike Drive
The Police Department will be collecting used bicycles beginning Monday, March 15. Bikes can be dropped off at the Police Department, 1212 Farrell Road, during regular business hours Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. More Details -
