PACE BUS

Lockport is served by two Pace bus routes that provide connections to neighboring communities, Metra’s Heritage Corridor Lockport Station and Southwest Service 153rd St/Orland Park Station, Lewis University, Orland Square Mall, Statesville Prison, and other Pace routes.

Pace Routes 832 Joliet-Orland Square and 834 Joliet-Downers Grove meet at the bus stop at 9th and State where riders can take advantage of free local transfers. Passengers may board and exit the bus anywhere along a route where it is safe to do so. Many safe boarding locations are identified with Pace bus stop signs.

A one way fare is $1.75.

METRA

Lockport's commuter Metra train is the Heritage Corridor. The station is located at the corner of 13th Street and State Street. Currently, six commuter trains go to and from Chicago on the weekdays.
