ComEd is planning to perform vegetation maintenance in June and July 2021. Work is to be performed in the northeast corner of the City, along Gougar Road from 147th Street and 151st, and along portions of the aforementioned two streets. Please see the Location Map (PDF).
Vegetation management is a key component of ComEd's maintenance program to ensure system electrical reliability since vegetation contact with ComEd equipment is a leading cause of outages.
